I've spent my career designing award-winning products across medical devices, consumer electronics, and emerging technology — guiding teams through every phase of development, from early concept through launch.
Currently, I'm working independently as a design consultant, partnering with early-stage companies on human factors, industrial design, and UX across consumer electronics and digital health programs.
Most recently, I led industrial design, UX, and human factors at Inflammatix, where I guided the TriVerity test system from early concept through FDA submission and clinical deployment. I owned end-to-end human factors research, including formative and summative studies, protocol authorship, participant recruitment, IRB interface, and regulatory reporting. My work shaped the product's design language, risk mitigation, and user experience — recognized with both Red Dot and UX Design Awards.
Before that, I directed human-centered industrial design at Ximedica, leading a team across multiple U.S. studios. I helped guide award-winning programs in diagnostics and orthopedics, while mentoring designers and contributing to early-phase usability strategy and concept testing.
Earlier roles span a range of innovation consultancies and in-house teams, where I partnered with global clients to create meaningful, manufacturable, and user-validated solutions across medtech, consumer health, and connected devices. Notable projects include the Penumbra REAL Immersive System, FreeStyle Libre 2 iCGM, and numerous others recognized with Red Dot, MDEA, IDEA, Edison, R&D 100, and Core77 awards, among others.
Across all of these roles, I've remained committed to crafting simple, intuitive solutions to complex technical challenges — grounded in user research, and balancing design excellence with real-world business and engineering constraints.
