I'm a designer and design leader with over two decades of experience bringing products from early concept to the hands of real people. What keeps me in this work is the problem-solving — the moment a complex, tangled challenge starts to resolve into something that's both elegant and buildable.
I care deeply about two things in equal measure: the people I work with, and the people who will ultimately use what we make. Whether I'm mentoring a junior designer, advocating for a design decision in an engineering review, or watching a user interact with a product for the first time, the through-line is the same — genuine curiosity about what the experience is actually like for the person in front of it. That drive to understand and improve how people interact with technology has shaped every product I've worked on, and it's what keeps the work meaningful.
Outside of work, I'm a father first — which means a fair amount of time outdoors, on the road, or elbow-deep in some personal building project. I volunteer when I can, travel whenever possible, and find that the best design ideas tend to arrive somewhere far from a screen.
